Meesha Shafi Gets Emotional after Praise From a Music Icon

Lahore, 15th December: Pakistan’s talented singer Meesha Shafi has been soaring high ever since she gave a power-packed performance for a new music platform.

According to Baaghi TV, Meesha Shafi has been garnering praises from across the country since her rendition of Nazia Hassan’s song ‘Boom Boom’ went viral.

While all fans were blown away by Meesha’s cover, she has also been applauded by late music icon Nazia Hassan’s brother, Zoheb Hassan.

Following the message from Zoheb, the ‘Waar’ actor, turned to her Instagram and shared a screenshot of his post lauding her tribute to his sister.

Hassan expressed in his post, “#TEAMVELO/#meeshashafi many congrats and thank you for the lovely tribute to my sister #NaziaHassan,” he wrote.

Appreciating the praise by veteran singer, Meesha wrote, “Of all the love and appreciation pouring in from all over the world, nothing can match the emotional value of this acknowledgement.”

She further said, “This means the absolute world to me and all those who worked on this tribute.”

“Millions of #NaziaHassan #NaziaZoheb fans continue celebrating their undying love for an iconic legend today just as passionately as they did decades ago,” she added.

It may be remembered that last week, the 39-year-old singer sang a remixed version of the song ‘Boom Boom’ sung by the late Pakistani pop singer Nazia Hasan for a new singing platform, the ‘Velo Sound Station’.
