Meeting of Chinese Ambassador with Sheikh Rasheed

According to Baaghi TV, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing has met Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.

Congratulations on the approval of Pakistan’s historic rail project ML-1 under the C-PEC framework. The Chinese Ambassador said that the ML-1 rail project would further strengthen the ties between Pakistan and China.

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that ML-1 project is the first step towards modern railways in Pakistan. It will give economic development to Pakistan. The ML-1 project is the flagship program of the current government.

It is the largest development program in the history of Pakistan. The M1 will cost 6.8 billion. A new 1872 km high speed track will be constructed from Karachi to Peshawar. The project will provide direct and indirect employment opportunities to 1.5 million people.

Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing said that ML-1 project is a great project for the people of Pakistan, it will bring a travel revolution in Pakistan.

The Chinese Ambassador commended the Government of Pakistan and the doctors and medical staff for their early recovery from Corona disease. Chairman Railway Habib-ur-Rehman Gilani was also present in the meeting.
