A meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Aviation will be held on Aug 13, 2020 in Committee Room No. 4, Parliament House, Islamabad.
According to details of Baaghi TV, the agenda includes statement by the Secretary Aviation Division regarding constitution of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on corruption in the Project of New Islamabad International Airport.
Moreover, the meeting will also include a detailed briefing by the chief executive (CEO) Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on the crash of PK-8303 and steps taken for restoration of operation of international flights. Furthermore, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will also give a detailed briefing on the issue of fake licenses of pilots and the action taken by the regulatory authority.

Reasons and briefing on Voluntary Separation Scheme (VSS) of PIA employees is also a part of the Standing Committee meeting.
