Meeting of the Board of Governors of Sindh Small Industries Corporation

February 17, 2021: Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharijo presided over the function. Secretary Industry and Commerce Riaz-ud-Din, MD Sindh Small Industries Corporation Najamuddin Sehto and other concerned officers were also present in the meeting. The meeting approved the budgets for 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020_21. Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharijo urged the concerned officers to recover the dues due on small industries.

The meeting was briefed that, 95% of the budget of Small Industries Corporation is spent on salaries, pensions and dues. Effective measures should be taken to increase the revenue of Small Industries Corporation. Jam Ikram Allah Dharijo said, “attendance should be checked through biometric system. Ghost employees have no place in government agencies. Ensure timely payment of salaries to the employees of Sindh Small Industries Corporation. Fortunately, employees are now being paid on time.”
