Members National Assembly Asma Qadeer and Ghulam Bibi Bharwana from Jhang met with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
According to reports, Special Assistant for Political Affairs Malik Amir Dogar also attended the meeting.
Asma Qadeer briefed the Prime Minister on the plan for sustainable household. Under the project, kitchen gardening and small-scale poultry will not only meet the household needs of the average family, but will also provide employment.
The proposed project is not only environmentally friendly due to its minimal carbon footprint, but also has the potential to make any home a sustainable unit for itself.
MNA Asma Qadeer congratulated the Prime Minister on the positive results of the Prime Minister’s Billion Tree Tsunami and apprised him of the ongoing tree planting initiative in which he has the support of the NHA.
Ghulam Bibi Bharwana briefed the Prime Minister on the ongoing public welfare schemes in Jhang. In addition, he suggested the availability of gas in view of the growing demand in Sial Sharif.
Appreciating these steps, the Prime Minister said that women MPs are playing an effective role in solving the problems of their constituency in general and women in particular, which is a welcome development.
