New Zealand Cricket has also confirmed that, following the approval of the Ministry of Health, the squad will leave Managed Isolation tomorrow. The T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand will start on December 18th. The Pakistan Cricket Board had announced an 18-member squad for the T20 against New Zealand. The team will be led by Babar Azam and vice-captain Shadab Khan. Sarfraz Ahmed and Hussain Talat have returned to the T20 squad. Mohammad Rizwan, Haider Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Iftikhar Ahmad, Khushdal Shah, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Hasnain, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi, Usman Qadir, Wahab Riaz, Fahim Ashraf, Emad Wasim and Abdullah Shafiq are also in the squad.

All cleared, 52 members will now arrive in Queenstown on Tuesday. Where Corona SOPs will not apply to them. Practice will begin in the ground, in the form of groups. Training and physical fitness will also continue. On the sixth and ninth day, the two members who have still reported as COVID-19 positive will complete their isolation period. Both members will join the squad in Queenstown as soon as their isolation period is completed.
