MET Office: Rain Expected in different parts of the Country

Islamabad (16th July, 2019): Rain showers and thunderstorm expected with gusty winds in different parts across Pakistan. 

According to Baaghi TV’s sources, MET department has predicted  rain and thunderstorms with gusty winds across parts of  Pakistan including; Hazara, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore, Islamabad, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu, Zhib, D. G. Khan, Peshawar as well as parts of Kashmir in a period of next twelve hours.

Weather in other parts of the country is expected to be hot and humid.

According to the MET office, minimum temperature of major cities as recorded on Tuesday is:

Islamabad 25°C

Peshawar 25°C

Lahore 23°C

Karachi 30°C

Quetta 24°C

Gilgit 18°C

Muzaffarabad 20°C

Murree 17°C

Moreover, according to the the synoptic situation, seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and its trough is extending Northwards. Moderate moist currents from Arabian Sea are reportedly penetrating upper parts of the country. Westerly wave is also present over upper parts of the country.
