Military Leadership: Ready to respond to all kinds of threats

The military leadership has expressed its determination that the Armed Forces are ready to respond to any kind of threat.

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), a meeting of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee was held. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza.

The importance of peace in Afghanistan for sustainable development in the region was also discussed while the challenges faced, work plan and operational readiness of the three armed forces were also discussed and the military leadership expressed full satisfaction and confidence in the readiness of the defense forces.

According to ISPR, the meeting reaffirmed the commitment of the Armed Forces to respond to all threats in a comprehensive and decisive manner, and appreciated the sacrifices made by the security forces in the fight against terrorism.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff General Nadeem Raza appreciated the co-ordination of the military in tackling all kinds of defense and security challenges facing Pakistan and said that the Joint Staff Headquarters was working in line with national aspirations.
