Lahore, 28th January: A housemaid has been brutally murdered after being raped in Lahore.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, Misbah, a housemaid in the Allama Iqbal Town area in Lahore was brutally murdered by unknown individuals after being raped on Thursday.
As per reports, the family alleged that the 14-year-old girl was working in a house in Nargis Block where her body was found and the bones of her hands and feet were broken. The girl was killed after being raped.
Lahore police took the body into custody and shifted it to the morgue. Police officials said that an autopsy would be conducted on the girl and the report would determine the cause of death and further details would come to light.
IG Punjab Inam Ghani took notice of the tragic incident of rape and murder of a housemaid and demanded a report from CCPO Lahore.
The IG Punjab directed that full investigation into the incident be carried out and action be taken against those responsible as soon as possible.
Taking notice of the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar sought a report from CCPO Lahore and ordered the immediate arrest of the accused.
Expressing heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family, Usman Bazdar assured justice and said that justice would be provided to the family of the deceased in any case.
