Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar says Pakistan with its missile and nuclear technology has impregnable defence.
He was addressing the Azadi Cultural Show at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad.
Ishaq Dar said Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam and it will remain on the world map till the day of Judgment. He said Pakistan has immense potential and resilience. He expressed the confidence that Pakistan will achieve its due place in the comity of nations.
The Deputy Prime Minister said the valiant armed forces of Pakistan delivered a crushing defeat to India in the month of May.
He enumerated the successes achieved by Pakistan over the last one and a half year on the diplomatic front including becoming a member of the UN Security Council and hosting the SCO meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahsan Iqbal highlighted Pakistan’s successes in areas of modern technology and higher education. He added that 250 universities are imparting quality education to the country’s youth. He said Pakistan is fast moving on the path of development.
Artists from across Pakistan presented patriotic songs.
Besides, cultural performances of students and children were hallmark of the event.
