Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit China for the SCO Tianjin Summit 2025, the 25th Heads of State Council meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will be held in the August 31 to September 1, 2025, in Tianjin, People’s Republic of China. It will be the fifth time that China hosts the annual SCO summit.
This will be his first trip to Beijing since the 2020 clashes between Indian and Chinese soldiers.
There is a possibility that Modi will hold an informal meeting with Russian President Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping during the conference.
