Modi Will Get us all Killed!

New Delhi: Despair spreads in the Indian army. An Indian General has lashed out at his own Prime Minister saying, “Modi will get us all killed!” According to reports Modi is facing severe backlash from retired army officers, politicians, and the general public in the wake of the humiliation administered by China to the Indian army at Ladakh.
The Indian Prime Minister had issued a statement for clarification regarding the Ladakh incident on Friday, to the effect that China had not entered the Galwan Valley and none of the Indian army posts had been captured.
PM has surrendered Indian territory to Chinese aggression.
If the land was Chinese:
1. Why were our soldiers killed?
2. Where were they killed? pic.twitter.com/vZFVqtu3fD— Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandhi) June 20, 2020
However this statement was subjected to severe criticism on Indian media and social media by opposition politicians, retired top officers of the Indian Army, and members of the public. The hashtag trend #ModiSurrendersGalwanValley surfaced as a top Twitter trend in India.
Leader of the biggest opposition party, the Congress, Rahul Gandhi also said in his tweet that the Prime Minister surrendered his own territory in the face of Chinese aggression. If the land belonged to China, he asked, then why and where did our soldiers get killed?
Today Modi sold India to its enemy number 2. Pakistan wud now be emboldened as they have China's backing. Modi has shamelessly conceded defeat & the COAS & CDS didn't say a thing. Rawat & Narvane both have miserably let down their 1 million+ strong troops. Blots on Indian Army.

It should be remembered that when the Chinese and Indian armies came face-to-face at Ladakh in 2013, Modi pilloried the then Congress government and made bombastic speeches full of the vow to teach China a lesson, during his election campaign.
Many retired Indian army officers have taken to Twitter to express their anger and sorrow over the humiliation suffered by the Indian Army at Galwan Valley.
Today is very unfortunate Day !! I thank my three stars that I am retired n my son in not in the Army!
— Lt Gen Rameshwar Roy (Retd.) Indian Army (@LtGen_Roy) June 19, 2020
Lt Gen Rameshwar Roy who has served as Core Commander in Indian Occupied Kashmir and Commander of the Indian Southern Command, said while responding to Modi’s statement, that “Today is a very unfortunate day! I thank my three stars that I am retired and my son is not in the army!” Rameshwar Roy said that he gave four decades of his life to the defence of this country’s borders and now I am having to see the day that India has accepted the changes made to the Line of Actual Control at East Ladakh by China. His statement that “today is an unfortunate day for every (Indian) soldier” also got criticism from social media but a number of retired Indian army officers have supported his stance.
FM statement Gave an Account of Galwan Valley Incident
“The Indian side promised that they would not cross the estuary of the Galwan river to patrol and build facilities.
The new claim line? Have we accepted it? PM’s statement yesterday indicates we have! https://t.co/Sl8uShylHK— Lt Gen Prakash Menon (@prakashmenon51) June 20, 2020
Chairman of Indian ex-Servicemen Movement (IESM) Major General (retd) Satbir Singh, said while commenting on the tweet of Lt. Gen. Rameshwar Roy, that he has actually used mild words. The statement of the Prime Minister has terrified me that we really do not have the resources to defend our borders.
Expert of strategic affairs in the Indian Army and associated with training institutes, the ex-advisor of the army, Lt. Gen Prakash Menon, raised the question regarding Modi’s statement whether we have accepted the Chinese stance over Galwan Valley? It can certainly be inferred from the Prime Minister’s statement that we have accepted China’s latest claim over the area. He also pointed out the dissonance between the statements of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and the Prime Minister.
The first one to give news and analysis about tensions between India and China at Ladakh, retired army officer and now journalist, Col (retd) Ajay Shukla has said that have I seen Prime Minister Modi redrawing the border between India and China? He said that if no one has entered our border territory, why did 20 Indian soldiers die? Does the government think it will get away with saying anything?
