Modi’s New Conspiracy: Census gets delayed in Kashmir
New Delhi, 4th February: The census has been postponed, another conspiracy of Indian PM Modi about occupied Kashmir has come to light.
Baaghi TV: Indian tactics continue to change the proportion of the population in occupied Kashmir from Muslim majority to minority.
The purpose of changing demographics is to prove the results of any possible poll. Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are divided into three parts in terms of area, of which 58% is Ladakh, 26% Jammu and 16% Kashmir Valley. 55% of the state’s population lives in the Occupied Kashmir Valley, 43% in Jammu and 2% in Ladakh.
According to the 2011 census, 68% of the population is Muslim, 28% Hindu, and 4% Sikh and Buddhist.
The mission of the Modi government is to rapidly change this proportion of the population and make Muslims a minority.
Under the new domicile law, more than 1.5 million people were given domicile in Kashmir. They include 6,600 retired soldiers from the Gorkha community, more than 10,000 labourers will be resettled in Kashmir from Bihar, while separate Israeli-style colonies are being set up for 4.5 million Kashmiri Pandits.
The Control of Building Operations Act 1988 and the Jammu and Kashmir Development Act 1970 was changed.
The move is aimed at giving free rein to the forces and cantonment boards. The Modi government gave 20,000 kanals of land to Hindu investors, more than 200,000 acres of land to foreign investors and 129 kanals of land for a military camp in Baramulla by removing the special certificate requirement for the security forces.
Indian forces already occupy 53,353 hectares of land in Kashmir. Demolition of constituencies was also started.
Under the plan, 7 seats in the Legislative Assembly will be increased. These seats will be given to Jammu instead of Kashmir, even though Kashmir has a large population.
A new division is being formed comprising the districts of Ramban, Kishtwar, Doda, Sufyan, Anantnag and Kulgam.
On the one hand, the Indian forces already occupy 53,353 hectares of land in Kashmir and now the Delhi government has allowed the armed forces to establish strategic areas which will cover hundreds of acres.
At the same time, the Control of Building Operations Act, 1988 and the Jammu and Kashmir Development Act, 1970 have been amended to give free rein to the Armed Forces and Cantonment Boards.
In January 2018, Mehbooba Mufti had also raised her voice against the Indian Army’s occupation saying that by allowing the purchase of land, the way was paved for the occupation of occupied Kashmir by Hindu capitalists.
The Modi government has seized 20,000 kanals of land for pennies from Hindu capitalists and the lands of the locals are being confiscated and auctioned.
Investment of Rs 137,000 crore of 43 companies in the Jammu and Kashmir Global Investors Summit is actually a plan to exploit the lands and resources of the Occupied Territories.
The Indian government is also buying more than 200,000 acres of land for foreign investors, including 15,000 acres adjacent to rivers.
On July 24, 2020, the Government of India approved state lands at 35 different locations (488 hectares / 1205 acres) for industries.
A comprehensive occupation campaign is threatening the very existence of Kashmir and these conspiracies have led to an increase in economic and social misery in occupied Kashmir. In just one year after the August 2019 move, the Kashmiri economy suffered a loss of 5. 5.3 billion.
In Jammu and Kashmir, large-scale conspiracies are being hatched by the BJP to bring in a Hindu Chief Minister. Manipulation of political parties and formation of Jammu and Kashmir own party (JKAP) is also part of this conspiracy.
New constituencies are being demarcated in Jammu and Kashmir and the Delimitation Commission has been directed to complete the work within a year.
