Baaghi TV: In the Bathoor area of the Indian city of Kanpur, fanatical miscreants have vandalized an ancient mosque and its adjoining shrine.
The miscreants have also painted some parts of the shrine saffron, which has caused tension in the city.
According to Indian media, the city administration has also claimed to be in control of the situation.
On January 17th, about 200 extremists attacked the mosque, according to eyewitnesses. The assailants tore down the board and then set fire to the doors.
According to ETV, the attacking miscreants also demolished the minarets of the mosque with the help of a tractor. According to a TV report, the ancient mosque was damaged by miscreants in Ram Dham, a town in Bathore, about 25km from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The miscreants also pasted pictures related to the Hindu religion on the building.
According to the report, the case of this tragedy has not been registered by the locals due to fear and terror. However, when the situation in the city became tense due to the heinous act of miscreants, the scholars talked to the administration and demanded action against the culprits.
