According to a report by Baaghi TV, senior journalist, anchorperson, and host of the program Khara Sach, Mubasher Lucman has written a letter to the Supreme Court.

In the letter to the Supreme Court, Mubasher Lucman requested under Article 19A of the Constitution of Pakistan and the Right to Information Act 2017, that some things which are not known to the general public and also not known to journalists should be made public. That he is also ready to pay the fee(s) for accessing this information.

According to Lucman, the request would allow the opportunity to “address certain issues of public importance which will eventually restore [the] confidence of the people of Pakistan in its judiciary”.

£109 Million of Information

Mubasher Lucman told the Supreme Court in a letter that the one hundred and ninety million pounds were brought from the UK and apparently entered into the Supreme Court’s account. However, limited information is known about the account. In which account did they come? Where is the money now? and if it has been used for any purpose, what are the details?

Dam Funds Information

Mubasher Lucman further said that a whole campaign was made for the dam and people gave enough funds to it. Billions of rupees were collected, but no one knows where that money went. So information should also be given regarding where that money went.

In a letter written to the Supreme Court, Mubasher Lucman added that the pension of retired judges and the provision of information to them is also requested. How much allowance do they get? Where are they used? How much is their pension? How much house allowance is received and what benefits are given after retirement along with information of all retired and serving Supreme Court Judges who have accumulated assets outside the country and also those who are settled abroad running businesses.

Mubasher Lucman requested the Supreme Court to provide all this information within the time frame given under the law of Pakistan.
