Murad Raas announces major decision regarding Board Exams

Lahore, 15th May: Punjab Education Minister Dr. Murad Raas has issued a notification regarding students’ exams and promotion due to the coronavirus situation in the country.
According to Omer Khayyam, Spokesperson to Minister for School Education Punjab Dr. Murad Raas, the students of ninth and eleventh-grade will be promoted.Ā Results will be announced after checking the papers of 10th class students.

As per reports, twelfth-grade students will be able to take the marks obtained by their eleventh grade or there will be an option to take the exam in 2021.

Students who failed the 10th and 12th class examinations will have their results based on the results of the 9th and 11th classes provided they pass in all subjects.

It is said that the ninth and eleventh-grade students who fail less than 40% of the exams will be given a passing grade.

Dr. Murad Raas said that special examinations will be conducted for four types of students. The four categories include students who want to improve grades, who want to take composite exams, who want to take additional subjects, and who have failed more than 40% of the exams in 11th grade.
