Lahore, 2nd November: Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas clarifies news regarding the closure of schools amid the second wave of coronavirus in the country. Baaghi TV: Despite the sudden rise in coronavirus cases in Pakistan, educational institutes will remain open, Education Minister Punjab, Dr Murad Raas, has confirmed. Taking to Twitter, Dr Murad said that the provincial government is closely monitoring the situation on a daily basis. He also added that the random COVID-19 tests are being conducted in schools and colleges as well. Keeping a very close watch on COVID 19 cases in Schools of Punjab. Random testing is being done continuously. There is a slight increase in numbers but nothing alarming. Situation being analysed on daily basis. There is NO plan to close Schools as of right now.
