NATHIAGALI, Jan 15 (APP): Director General (DG) Galyat Development Authority (GDA) Raza Habeeb Wednesday informed the Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Amir Afaq and heads of the allied department that the Murree road cleared for traffic from snow.
Raza Habeeb informed the meeting that the snow clearance from Galyat was in progress, from Murree to Changla Gali and Abbottabad to Donga Gali main Murree road was open for traffic.
He further said that from other areas snow would be cleared till morning.
After meeting while talking to media, DC Abbottabad Amir Afaq said that GDA, C&W, KPHA and allied departments were being directed by the provincial government to clear all the roads from snow.
He advised tourists to follow the weather advisory from met department for basic information to avoid any issue during the travel in Galyat, GDA has also established a helpline to facilitate the tourists and locals, adding the DC said.
Amir Afaq said that during the last snowfall Galyat has received more than 4 feet snow, he advised tourists to cooperate with the traffic police and other allied department while travelling in Galyat for their own safety.
