NAB Amendment Bill 2019 referred to Committee on Law

Islamabad July 24 (Online Int’l): The National Assembly Standing Committee on Law and Justice on Friday halted work on under discussion “The National Accountability (Second Amendment) Bill, 2019 (Ordinance No.XXVII of 2019).
The 31st meeting of the Standing Committee on Law and Justice was held on Friday under the Chairmanship of Fiaz Fatyana at Parliament House Islamabad.
It was observed by the Committee that yesterday i.e. 23rd July 2020 a Parliamentary Committee was constituted by the Speaker; hence it would be appropriate to refer the same for consideration of the said Committee. The Committee unanimously recommended that the Bill be referred to the Parliamentary Committee.
The Committee decided to proceed with the agenda. The Committee unanimously confirmed the minutes of its previous meeting held on 09th July, 2020.
