NAB court summons Nawaz, Gilani, Zardari on May 29

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court summoned former prime ministers Nawaz Sharif, Yousuf Raza Gilani and former president Asif Ali Zardari in the Tosha Khana reference.
According to details, the accountability court has summoned Nawaz Sharif, Yousuf Raza Gilani and Asif Ali Zardari in the Tosha Khana reference on May 29.
According to the NAB, Zardari and Nawaz illegally obtained vehicles from Yousuf Raza Gilani. Asif Zardari paid only 15% of the vehicles through fake accounts. Asif Zardari also received vehicles from Libya and UAE as gifts. Instead of depositing the vehicles in the treasury, Asif Zardari kept them in his personal use.
NAB lodges reference against Nawaz, Zardari, Gillani
The bureau has accused Nawaz Sharif that he was not on any post in 2008 but Nawaz Sharif was given a car without any request. According to NAB officials, Abdul Ghani Majeed paid for the vehicles through fake accounts, while Anwar Majeed made illegal transactions of more than Rs 20 million from the accounts of Ansari Sugar Mills.
The NAB also said that Anwar Majeed also transferred Rs 9.2 million to Asif Zardari’s accounts while Abdul Ghani Majeed transferred Rs 37 million to the Customs Collector Islamabad.
The National Accountability Bureau said the accused committed corruption under sub-sections 2, 4, 7 and 12 of section 9(A) of the NAB Ordinance.
