NAB files a reference against Saleem Mandviwala

Lahore, 13th January: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has taken a big step against the Senate Chairman Saleem Mandviwala on Wednesday.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, NAB has filed a reference against Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwala.

According to details, significant progress has been made in the fake accounts case and NAB has named Saleem Mandviwala as the accused in the plot allotment case and in reference.

Saleem Mandviwala is accused of selling government plots to Abdul Ghani Majeed. According to NAB, he facilitated and assisted Ejaz Haroon in selling government plots to Abdul Ghani Majeed.

NAB says that Saleem Mandviwala sold plots and bought fake shares in the name of Frontman. In this reference, Nadeem Mandviwala, Ejaz Haroon, Abdul Ghani Majeed and Tariq Mahmood have also been named as accused.

It is to be noted that Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwala has not agreed to withdraw the resolution and motion for an adjournment in the House against NAB, even though the government has proposed to set up a special committee on NAB.

Yesterday, Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwala and the Chairman Senate held an important meeting in the Senate Chamber regarding the concerns of the opposition regarding NAB.

Saleem Mandviwala, while expressing his concerns, said that he stood by the resolution against NAB and the decision of adjournment motion.
