Nadia Jamil Claims Giving Up Role Opposite Shahrukh Khan

Lahore (27 June, 2019): Pakistani actress Nadia Jamil opens up about giving up role opposite Bollywood star, Shahrukh Khan.
According to Baaghi TV’s sources, Pakistani actress, Nadia Jamil has opened up about letting go the iconic role of Zara in Bollywood movie, Veer Zaara. The iconic movie is a tale of love across neighboring states, India and Pakistan post-Partition.
Recently Nadia Jamil appeared on Pakistani show “Speak You Heart with Samina Peerzada” where the actress revealed some really interesting details about her life. While on the one she poke out against social evils such as: child labour, child sex abuse, and child trafficking, she also mentioned that she turned down the opportunity to appear in one of Bollywood’s biggest movies, Veer Zaara.

Jamil opened up about her reasons for rejecting the film that could have helped her make a remarkable career. However, as the actress put it, there really is no comparison between choosing to be a good mother and making a career.
Moreover, while talking about the film she said, that while she was offered the role later portrayed by Rani Mukherjee, and she had turned it down, the film provided her the opportunity to make some great new friends. She continued to say that meeting the lat Indian director, Yash Chopra was a turning point in her career.
Although the film was a massive hit back in the day, Pakistani fans can’t help but be in awe that a versatile actor such as Nadia Jamil did not get to add her own twist to it.
