National interest should be the priority of our leaders: Liaqat Baloch on Rehmat Hee Rehmat

Lahore, 20th May: Today on ‘Rehmat Hee Rehmat’ Iftar transmission, the central leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch was the guest of honor. The program is telecast daily on the Mubasher Lucman YouTube channel, powered by Q-Mobile.

Liaqat Baloch said that our leadership is unable to make decisions for the country, which will strengthen its integrity and sovereignty.

Unfortunately, our rulers do not include the prosperity of the country in their priorities. He said that India’s influence in the region has been growing. And he is punishing the Islamists in Bangladesh at the hands of his puppet government who sacrificed for their homeland during United Pakistan.

He said that when Bangladesh was formed, there was an agreement between the then Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi and Sheikh Mujib-ur-Rehman that they would not prosecute each other.

Today in Bangladesh, Jamaat-e-Islami leaders are being tried and hanged. They are being punished only for being Pakistani. In this regard, it is unfortunate that the rulers of Pakistan should stop the Bangladeshi government from doing this and insist on abiding by the agreement not to take such hostile action against the people of Jamaat-e-Islami. But our rulers are just engaged in their own devotion.

He said that at present Afghanistan, Kashmir, India’s aggressive attitude, Indian influence in Bangladesh are all issues that our leaders did not handle like in the past. This is because the far-reaching matter is not understood.

Our policies are not in line with national priorities. He said that sometimes there is incompetence, sometimes there is no approach, sometimes there is no preparation and sometimes there is lack of faith and trust due to which one’s feet falter while taking such steps.

Liaqat Baloch said that such decisions cannot be taken where positions, wealth, power, and looted wealth becomes dear.
