DUBAI: Pakistan’s National Skills University reaches agreement with countries around the world in United Arab Emirates (UAE).  Mubasher Lucman, a Pakistani senior journalist, well-versed with science and technology, also congratulated the Pakistani educational institution in (UAE) on gaining the same footing in the world of education as other prestigious institutions. 

The event was held in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO-UNEVOC). Experts from various countries participated in the event but only seven remained lucky enough to be included in the agreement, including Pakistan.

Pakistani education is finally on par with other leading educational institutions of the world in the field of Science and Technology.

National Education Day is celebrated on November 11

According to the reports, the list of universities in the official agreement goes as follows: National Skills University (Pakistan), Arusha Technical College (Tanzania), Centre of Flexible Education (Sweden), lloilo University of Science and Technology (Philippine), National Higher Engineering School of Tunisia (Tunisia), University of Management ‘TISBI’ (Russia), and Institute of Technology (New Zealand).

Ahmed Sami, Executive of Director of Higher Colleges of Technology, welcomed all the participants of the consortium. Fredrick Hubbles, head of UNESCO-UNEVOC, also highlighted the importance of such role to elevate the standards of modern education, uniformly around the world.

Speakers said that the pandemic has pushed the new generation into a highly digitalized and integrated world. Therefore, institutions across the world should shift the educational machinery accordingly so future generations can benefit and be educated in a modernized manner.

Professor Abdul Latif-Al-Shamsi, president and CEO of Higher Colleges of Technology, also expressed delight over this initiative and said that this is the focal point of such a global development that will improve levels of awareness and education locally as well as internationally.
