LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has granted bail to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on medical grounds, on Friday (today) and ordered the submission of two bail bonds worth Rs. 10 million.

Nawaz Sharif’s bail was granted in Chaudhry Sugar Mills Case, when the PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif had filed the bail application for the release of his brother.

According to the details, a petition was held in LHC on the bail of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Earlier today, the prosecution and defence had concluded their arguments in the case. A two-member bench headed by Justice Baqar Najafi heard the petition.

According to the details, Advocate General (AG) Punjab has said that Nawaz Sharif has been diagnosed and it will take at least 2-3 days for recovery. Moreover, the former premier Nawaz Sharif can not travel in this condition.
