NCOC issues safety guidelines for Eid prayers
Lahore, 11th May: Amid the increasing cases of coronavirus in the country, National Command and Operation center (NCOC) has issued important instructions for Eid prayers.
NCOC has said that the guidelines for Eid prayers will be applied throughout the country.
According to the instructions issued, Eid prayers will be held in open spaces with open doors. Doors and windows should be kept open in case of prayers in the mosque.
Eid speech should be kept short. Sick, elderly people and persons below 15 years of age should avoid Eid prayers.
There should be additional entrances and exits for the people. The instructions further said that people must do ablution for Eid prayers from home.
People will not be allowed to gather before and after prayers.
NCOC guidelines further said that people must wear face masks and maintain a safe social distance.
People must ensure the use of sanitizers while entering the mosques, where thermal scanners will be installed.
