NCOC meeting to finalize tougher restrictions
Lahore, 28th March: Keeping in view the rising number of coronavirus cases in Punjab, tougher decisions are being taken at the meeting of National Command and Operation Center (NCOC). According to reports of Baaghi TV, NCOC meeting is underway in Islamabad in which important decisions are expected including tightening the lockdown to control the widespread of the coronavirus pandemic. A special meeting of the National Command and Operations Center is underway in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Asad Umar. The meeting is attended by the Chief Secretaries of the four provinces. The meeting is reviewing the third wave of COVID-19 in the country, the latest status of coronavirus and strategies for implementing SOPs. During the NCOC meeting, Dr. Faisal Sultan said that a consignment of 1,060,000 doses of Chinese coronavirus vaccine would arrive from China by Tuesday. Dr. Faisal Sultan added that Pakistan has been further delayed in getting the vaccine AstraZeneca from the World Health Organization. As per reports, Pakistan is expecting to receive 2.8 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine by the end of March. Stay tuned to Baaghi TV to read further updates regarding the important meeting!
