Jan.30 2021, NCOC : Pakistan Vaccine Strategy
NCOC morning session was held on Saturday. The forum deliberated at length about Vaccine administration strategy across Pakistan. Particular issues discussed were administrative measures with a focus on logistics of moving of the initial tranche of vaccine.
The forum was apprised that a special PAF plane will fly to Beijing, China tomorrow for transportation of the first tranche of vaccine containing 500,000 doses. All necessary measures have been put in place for vaccine storage at Islamabad and transport of vaccine to various federating units particularly to Sindh and Balochistan through air .
The vaccine nerve centre has been established at NCOC with provincial and district Level vaccine administration and Adult vaccination and coordination centres.
