New SOPs issued for the restaurants and wedding halls
Lahore, 5th October: Government has decided to issue new SOPs related to wedding halls and restaurants in the country under the prevailing situation of the pandemic.
Baaghi TV: The government has decided to issue new SOPs related to wedding halls and restaurants in the wake of the coronavirus.
Federal Minister Asad Umar said that in the first phase, SOPs related to wedding halls would be issued on Wednesday. SOPs will require the mandatory use of masks and restrictions on working hours.
On the other hand, the forum was informed on the daily situation regarding the coronavirus pandemic in the NCOC that wearing masks and non-compliance with social distances could be helpful in the spread of the virus.
Asad Umar said it was important to monitor the spread and prevention of the virus. Wearing a mask helps control the spread of the coronavirus. Asad Umar added that the implementation of SOPs could prevent a second wave of the virus in winter.
Wedding halls and restaurants are becoming major centres of disease transmission. The NCOC has praised the education sector for its efforts to adhere to health guidelines and protocols.
In Karachi, 9 marriage halls and 159 restaurants have been sealed in three days so far.
In Karachi, the city administration is conducting an operation on the violation of Coronavirus SOPs, under which 26 out of 225 marriage halls in 6 districts of the city have been inspected, out of which 7 have been warned and 2 have been sealed.
