New Zealand wins against Afghanistan

New Zealand defeated Afghanistan to qualify for the semi-finals of the World Cup T20, while India was knocked out of the World Cup after the Kiwi team’s victory.

In the group match played in Abu Dhabi, the Black Caps lost two wickets with one arrow, after defeating Afghanistan, India was eliminated from the tournament and made a place in the final four.

Pakistan, New Zealand, England and Australia have reached the semi-finals.

The Kiwis defeated Afghanistan by 8 wickets, they easily completed the target of 125 runs in the 19th over.

Captain Kane Williamson played an unbeaten innings of 40, Devon Conway remained unbeaten on 36, while Martin Guptill scored 28 and Mitchell 17. For Afghanistan, Rashid Khan and Mujeeb-ur-Rehman took 1.1 wickets each.

Earlier, Afghanistan scored 124 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Najibullah Zadran’s 73-run innings also came in handy. Bolt took 3 wickets and Southee took 2 wickets.
