No-confidence motion against Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan; CM Jam Kamal will be put to a vote on October 25.

A meeting of the Balochistan Assembly was chaired by Speaker Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo in which a no-confidence motion was moved against Chief Minister Jam Kamal.

Assembly member Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran moved a no-confidence motion against the Chief Minister, which was supported by 33 members of the 65-member Balochistan Assembly. After discussing the resolution, the Speaker Balochistan Assembly fixed Monday, October 25 at 11 am, for the motion.

It should also be noted that no-confidence motion has been filed against Jam Kamal, but the surprise was heightened when his own colleagues in the opposition alliance who had no confidence in CM mistrusted him and quarantined him.

In this regard, it is also learned that Malik Sikandar, Leader of the Opposition in the Balochistan Assembly, has claimed that 5 members of the Assembly are missing from the House. The session of Balochistan Assembly has started under the chairmanship of Speaker Mir Abdul Qaddos Bizenjo in which a no-confidence motion was moved against Chief Minister Jam Kamal.

According to sources from Quetta, Assembly member Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran filed a no-confidence motion against the Chief Minister. In his address after the motion was tabled, Malik Sikandar, Leader of the Opposition in the Balochistan Assembly, claimed that we all have to restore the sanctity of this House.

He said that five members were missing and all of them should be allowed to exercise their constitutional and democratic rights.

Earlier, Zahoor Ahmad Baledi, leader of the ruling Balochistan Awami Party, said that 36 members had made the show, with the support of 40 members in the 65-member House. Malik Sikandar, Asad Baloch and other leaders also advised Chief Minister Jam Kamal to resign. The motion in the 65-member Balochistan Assembly requires the support of 33 members.
