Afghan nationals will not be allowed to stay in the Islamabad Capital Territory without permission after the end of the next month.

This was announced by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, while talking to the media in Islamabad this afternoon.

He said no Afghan citizen will be able to live in the Federal Capital without having proper permission from the district administration of the Islamabad. He said any Afghan citizen, who intends to stay in the Islamabad Capital Territory post December this year, will have to obtain a No Objection Certificate from the Deputy Commissioner Office.

Responding to a question, the Minister said majority of roads have been opened and routine life in Islamabad has been restored.
