ISLAMABAD, Sep 05 (Online): Non accepting resignation of Asim Saleem Bajwa, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) by Imran Khan is ridiculous, says Nafisa Shah, central leader of PPP.
In a statement here Saturday she said the selected government which is chanting the slogan of change and justice vociferously has been exposed.
She held it has been proved that selected PM is patronizing those involved in committing robbery on the pockets of people. PM should accept the resignation of Asim Saleem Bajwa forthwith, she added.
Although Asim Saleem Bajwa has given clarification but an independent probe must be held in this matter, she demanded.
The cabinet of selected PM is becoming scandal stricken day by day, she remarked.
Asim Saleem Bajwa has now become controversial, she said. He has given resignation as SAPM but why not from chairmanship of CPEC authority , she questioned.
Earlier resignations were taken from Tania Aidrus and Zafar Mirza but the facts were concealed, she underlined.
Those behind atta, sugar, medicines, masks, petrol and other commodities scandals were allowed to flee abroad rather than initiating any action against them.
Those sitting in cabinet of selected PM has become suspected, she observed.
The details of assets of all the people saddled in selected cabinet should be made public, she demanded.
PPP rejects selected accountability by selected PM, she added.
