NZC releases official statement after PAKvsNZ
The New Zealand Cricket Board’s (NZC) statement came after Pakistan’s victory against the Black Caps in Group 2 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The NZC tweeted:
“Despite all efforts to defend the target, today was Pakistan’s night in Sharjah.”

In the wake of battling against the Black Caps, Asif Ali hit two tension assuaging sixes to give the Green Shirts a high ground against New Zealand Tuesday.
Prior, a Pakistani bowling invasion drove by right-arm pacer Haris Rauf kept New Zealand under control, as the Black Caps gave Pakistan an average objective of 135 runs.
It should be noted that New Zealand batted first at the invitation of Pakistan and scored 134 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Pakistan completed the target in the 19th over, defeating New Zealand by 5 wickets to clinch their second victory of the tournament.
