Officer’s Family Misconduct on Hazara Expressway Mansehra

On 20 May 2020: A lady (later recognized as the wife of PA-36477 Lt Col Muhammad Farooq Khan, FF presently Comdt 33 DBS, Qta) reportedly misbehaved at Hazara Expressway with Civ Police/CPEC ex 64 FF.

Details are as under:-

·The lady wanted to enter Mansehra Tunnel while traveling from Mansehra to Shinkiari.
·The lady used derogatory language towards civ police and CPEC tps ex 64 FF/340 Bde/34 SSD.
·Reportedly, the lady misbehaved the in same manner on 20 May 2020 at around 1100 hrs while traveling from Shinkiari to Atd as well. However, no evidence exists in this regard.
·Video in circulation was recorded by Constable Shams (ex-serviceman) of Spec Police Unit of CPEC (video att as Video no 1).

·Vehicle visible in the video is Honda Civic ACC-35, Isb regd.
.It is pertinent to mention that Lt Col Farooq was posted out of FF Cen in Sep 2018 to 33 DBS due to an incident of misconduct with tfc police in Atd in Aug 2018. The same car is visible in both videos.

COAS has taken very serious notice of the gross misconduct by the lady who happens to be the wife of a colonel. Immediate disciplinary action has been initiated against the officer.
