Why I still say this is our best fighting chance!

This is one of my all time favorite quotes, perhaps surpassed by Rudyard Kipling’s poem “If”.

A short note on “Why?”

One reason I’m beginning to sound like a preachy old man is because, I am. As I turn 65 in May, 2021, and have this amazing beautiful feeling every living moment of how fortunate we all are in still being alive and healthy and how our time in this very temporary earthly realm and our physical body is nearing its final laps, with the end anytime from now to a best guess 3ish decades.

Therefore, I think its so important to take advantage of all the time available to us and focus on the NOW, the PRESENT, on our relationships with family and friends, in forgiving and forgetting, in reconciliations, in being in constant and complete gratitude and thankfulness to the Almighty Creator for everything given to us.

For the greatest everyday Supreme Pleasure of just being alive and hopefully healthy with a functioning mind and body.

Some thoughts to ponder over!

For being thankful of the pleasures we had with those who were part of our lives and now departed. Not with Sorrow but with Joy! However small or big that time was.

And I’m not sure if our constant Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter and social discussions and or criticism or support of political activities, sectarian religious, cultural and ethnic divides makes our lives richer, better, more contented and fulfilled, unless of course we are in the Arena and toiling, fighting and struggling every moment to fight for what we believe in.

Boycott France Campaign!

For those of us fortunate enough to have time, intellect, expertise, financial and other resources, perhaps a better use of our time and efforts may be to directly make a difference in the lives of people who are not as fortunate as we may perhaps be.

Or in the least when we do engage with others we do with a smile on our face and in our hearts and hopefully bring the same to theirs.
