Opening liquor shops in Indian illegally occupeid Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) is a direct attack on its religious & cultural identity.

Resent is surging over plans for liquor sales in Kashmir. Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has warned of strong protests if the liquor outlets open in Srinagar as it is a deliberate attempt to erode Kashmiri society and corrupt future generations.

Kashmiri traders have announced a 3-day shutdown to protest liquor shops in Srinagar. They said opening liquor outlets is entirely unacceptable to the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Promoting alcohol in the occupied territory amounts to deliberate societal sabotage.
