National cricket team captain Babar Azam has said that today’s win was the result of combined effort and hard work of the entire team and whenever there is a win, he feels a lot of confidence as captain.

Babar Azam said that when wickets could not help, he decided to change the fielding positions and increase the pressure on the opposition.

He said that Shaheen Shah Afridi played brilliantly, stating that he is a very confident bowler and bowls aggressively. “Glad I have a bowler like Shaheen Shah Afridi,” he said.

The captain of the national cricket team further said that the young fast bowler kept the hosts on their toes with his excellent bowling. “We played twenty overs on the fourth day against West Indies as a strategy,” he said.

Babar Azam further continued, “I always say Fawad Alam is a very experienced batsman. In difficult conditions, he batted brilliantly. He has scored 10,000 runs in domestic cricket and is playing an important role in bringing the team out of a difficult situation. Every batsman of ours needs to learn from Fawad Alam.”
