Baaghi TV: President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that in the 1965 war, the Pakistan Army defeated the enemy on every front.

In his special message on the occasion of Pakistan Defense Day, President Dr. Arif Alvi said that 55 years ago today, the Armed Forces and the nation had crushed the nefarious intentions of the enemy. Our land, naval and air forces showed exemplary courage and the armed forces defeated the enemy on every front.

He said that in the moments of ordeal, the nation fought valiantly with the forces of Pakistan. The entire nation salutes the martyrs of the homeland and pays homage to the spirit of independence of their families. The families of the martyrs sacrificed their loved ones for the protection and security of the homeland.

Dr. Arif Alvi said that the spirit of September 1965 is still alive in our hearts and I can proudly say that thanks to it we have passed many exams. The professionalism, combat readiness and faith of our forces made Pakistan invincible.

“We are happy that we have achieved self-reliance in the field of defense,” he said. The forces are playing a vital role in protecting the borders and building and developing the country.
