Outgoing World Bank Country Director pays Farewell Call on PM

ISLAMABAD, July 29 (Online Int’l): Patchamuthu Illangovan, the outgoing Country Director of World Bank in Pakistan paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Imran Khan at Islamabad Wednesday.

Minister for Economic Affairs &  Development Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar and senior officials were present. Illangovan thanked the Prime Minister for his support during his stay in Pakistan. He recognised Pakistan’s efforts towards stabilisation of the economy and the overall reform process including the response to the COVID19 pandemic. 

The Prime Minister appreciated the partnership with World Bank and wished the out-going World Bank Country Director success for his next assignment.
