The security forces have killed 15 Khawarij in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.

According to the ISPR, security forces conducted military operations in North Waziristan and Dera Ismail Khan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan and killed at least nine terrorists, it added.

The terrorists were identified as Farman alias Saqib, Amanullah alias Tori, Saeed alias Liaquat and Bilal. According to the ISPR, they were highly wanted by law enforcement agencies.

In another operation, at least 6 terrorists were killed in the North Waziristan tribal district, the statement said, adding, Lieutenant Muhammad Hassan Ashraf along with 3 soldiers were also martyred during the exchange of firing.

The security forces of Pakistan are determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism, and the sacrifices of our brave soldiers strengthen our resolve, it added.
