ISLAMABAD, Feb 05 (APP): Pak-India meaningful dialogue is imperative for peaceful settlement of the festering Kashmir dispute as war is no service to mankind, said Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani.

Talking to APP, he opined that the good offices of UN Secretary General be sought by constant talks with him as he was quite interested in settling the Kashmir dispute by peaceful dialogue between the parties. The help of Parliament, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), European union and the British parliament could also be sought for settling the dispute.

The importance of the people of Kashmir is of vital importance and their sacrifices should be underscored by encouraging their political role in it, he said. He urged the strengthening and empowering of the Kashmiris and cause of the people, when India has squeezed them and shrinked space for them.
