Foreign Office spokesman said that Pakistan and China are committed to completing the Dasu Hydropower Project and other projects.
He said in a statement that the Chinese construction company had annulled its previous notice and withdrawn the notification to evict Pakistani workers.
A Foreign Office spokesman said the safety and construction of those working on Dasu was being looked into and that Pakistani and Chinese officials were in close contact.
He added that construction on the Dasu project would resume soon, adding that Pakistan and China were committed to completing the Dasu hydropower project and other projects.
