Pakistan and Indian Army agree to LOC ceasefire
Lahore, 24th February: Pakistan and Indian armies agree to reinforce the ceasefire along Line Of Control ( LOC). Baaghi TV: According to reports from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both the director-general of military operations of India and Pakistan reviewed the situation along the Line of Control. The ISPR statement read that both the DGs made hotline contact in the interest of achieving mutually beneficial and sustainable peace. It said they agreed to address each other’s key issues which have the tendency to disturb the peace and lead to violence. As per reports from Geo News, both sides agreed for strict observance of all agreements, understandings and ceasefire along the LOC and all other sectors, which will take effect from tonight. Pakistan and India reiterated that existing mechanisms of hotline contact and border flag meetings would be utilised to resolve any unforeseen situation. After the increasing number of cases of LoC violations by India which have been reported by the Pakistan Army, contact between the two military officials was finally made.
