Pakistan Bridge Federation elects its New Board of Directors, President and General Secretary for next three years
In a meeting of the Pakistan Bridge Federation (PBF), held earlier tonight, newly elected directors were confirmed.
The meeting held online around 9:30 PM (PST), was supervised by former President of the PBF Mr. Javaid Khalid.
The seven Elected Directors namely Mr. Mubasher Lucman, Mr. Ehsan Qadir, Mr. Saeed Akhtar, Ms. Fatima Raza, Dr. Minhaj Qidwai, Mr. Tehsin Gheewala, and Mr. Sarfraz Butt were present for the meeting.
According to Baaghi TV reports, senior investigative journalist Mr. Mubasher Lucman was unanimously elected as the new President of the PBF. Meanwhile, Mr. Ehsan Qadir was elected as Secretary PBF.
During the meeting, the members agreed to request that Mr. Masood Mazhar continue to serve as Honorary Treasure of the Pakistan Bridge Federation (PBF).
The new President while addressing the directors discussed his plans and priorities for the PBF. He expressed the desire to hold Bridge tournaments frequently at all venues across major Pakistani cities Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
He also emphasised that as the President, he would make greater efforts to bring the youth towards this sport.
According to an official statement by the PBF, “Mr. Mubasher Lucman has been elected as the new president of the Pakistan Bridge Federation for the next three years”.
The members congratulated the new president and welcomed his ideas.
