Pakistan closes airspace, cancels all flights | Baaghi TV

Pakistan has decided to close its airspace after the missile strikes by India.

According to Baaghi TV, the Pakistani Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has announced that all domestic and international flights have been cancelled.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has also suspended all its flights and directed passengers to return to their homes.

A PIA spokesperson said that all flights have been diverted to Karachi and alternative arrangements are being made for passengers.

Pakistan has closed its airspace and suspended all flights in response to Indian aggression. In addition, Pakistan has also suspended all trade relations with India simultaneously stopping a special visa scheme for Indian citizens.

It should be noted that the Indian army launched missile attacks on Kotli, Muzaffarabad and Bahawalpur areas of Azad Kashmir on May 6, 2025, in which an innocent child was martyred and two people were injured. The Pakistani army has termed these attacks as a “cowardly act” and said that they will respond to it timely.

Pakistani army spokesperson, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that the Pakistani Air Force is on full alert and Indian aircraft have been prevented from entering Pakistani airspace.
