Pakistan Day being celebrated across country as Armed Forces parade continues in Islamabad

Mar 23, 2022: Today Pakistan Day is being celebrated with enthusiasm all over the country. 

The main celebration of Pakistan Day is underway at the Thanksgiving Parade Ground in the federal capital Islamabad, in which the President, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa are in attendance.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff General Nadeem Raza, Naval Chief Admiral Ajmal Khan Niazi and Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar are also present on the occasion of Pakistan Day. Foreign Ministers of OIC countries have also been specially invited to the Pakistan Day Parade.

The day started with salute of cannons, while after Fajr prayers special prayers were offered for security, development and prosperity of the country. Minorities living in Pakistan are also celebrating Pakistan Day in full swing. And special prayers are being offered for peace and order.

National flags have been hoisted on all public and private buildings, 31 cannons were saluted by the Pakistan Army in the federal capital and 21 in the provincial capitals.

A special trumpet was blown on the arrival of President Dr. Arif Alvi, after which the national anthem was recited in honor of which all the participants stood.

After the recitation of the Holy Quran with the translation of the Holy National Anthem, the President Dr. Arif Alvi got into a special jeep and inspected the Armed Forces.

Led by Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sadhu, the Pakistan Air Force saluted the state-of-the-art J10C fighter jets which flew past. Addressing the function, President Dr. Arif Alawi said that all challenges would be met through mutual unity and cooperation. Pakistan wants peace with all countries. He said we have made immense sacrifices for the protection of independence and that we have succeeded in overcoming external conspiracies and will continue to do so.

The theme of this year’s main parade of Pakistan Day is ‘Shad Rahe Pakistan’. This prayer theme is taken from the national anthem section ‘Markaz-e-Yaqeen Shad Bad’.

Troops of Armored Corps, Artillery and Air Defense Engineers are taking part in the parade with terrifying military equipment, SSG commandos will demonstrate free fall. Missiles, UAVs are part of the parade as a symbol of Pakistan’s invincible defense. Cultural floats from all four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan also graced the occasion. 

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sadhu has released his message on the occasion of Pakistan Day.

In his message, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sadhu said that March 23 is an important milestone in the history of Pakistan. This year Pakistan Day is of special significance. The nation will see the demonstration of J10C aircraft on the occasion of the parade.

The Chief of Air Staff also said that J10C aircraft have recently become part of the Pakistan Air Force, which is a masterpiece of our innovative policy.

The main event of the Armed Forces Parade on Pakistan Day will be held in Islamabad today, in which President Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chiefs of the Armed Forces and other important political, social and religious personalities and foreign guests will participate. Troops of the Armed Forces will take part in the parade.

Troops of Armored Corps, Artillery and Air Defense Engineers will take part in the parade with terrifying weapons and SSG commandos will perform free fall.

Quaid-e-Azam in Karachi and Mazar-e-Iqbal in Lahore held a ceremony for the change of guards.

It is to be noted that during the session passed in the meeting of All India Muslim League on March 23, 1940, the resolution presented by Sher-e-Bengal Maulvi Fazlullah is commemorated in the light of which Shame on the dream. This resolution was presented in Lahore Manto Park where Minar Pakistan was erected as a memorial to it.

The resolution was translated into Urdu by Maulana Zafar Ali Khan. In support of this, Khan Aurangzeb Khan, Haji Abdullah Haroon, Yagam Maulana Muhammad Ali Johar, II Chandragar, Maulana Abdul Hamid Badawi and other Muslim dignitaries delivered speeches. went. Begum Muhammad Ali Johar in her speech called the resolution Pakistan Resolution for the first time.

The resolution called for the delimitation of areas of India which are Muslim-majority and geographically connected to each other in such a way that they take the form of independent Muslim states.

According to the resolution, in areas where Muslims are a minority, they should be guaranteed protection of religious, ethnic, political, economic, administrative and other rights and interests under the constitution.

In his message issued on the occasion of Pakistan Day, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that March 23 is the day of renewal of our commitment to adhere to the real goals of creation of Pakistan, justice and equality.

Imran Khan said that it was important for the youth to know that Pakistan came into being through a long democratic struggle and now the key to its stability and development lies in hard work, honesty and ethics. He said we need to adhere to the golden principles of faith, unity and organization given by Jinnah and  that we must dedicate ourselves to make the country a true welfare state in the style of the state of Madinah.

The Prime Minister prayed that Allah Almighty grant all Pakistanis, including me, the strength to follow in the footsteps of the great founders of the country. The President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, in his message on the occasion of Pakistan Day, said that Pakistan Day is an important day in the history of the subcontinent in many respects.

Dr. Arif Alvi said that on this day Muslims made it clear to the British that Congress was not a representative political party of Muslims. Pay tribute to the founders who made timely and wise political decisions.

The President said, “Time has proved the demand of Muslims for a separate homeland to be politically justified. At the end of the day, we have to unite different nationalities and minorities into one nation.”

He said that all the challenges facing Pakistan can be overcome through collective efforts. The day is not far when Pakistan will become an economically strong and prosperous country. We need to work for national unity and socio-economic development.
