Pakistan expels Indian High Commissioner.

Pakistan has asked Indian High Commissioner to leave the country after the Indian decision to change the status of Jammu and Kashmir, following the meeting of National Security Committee (NSC) on Wednesday.

According to reports of Baaghitv, after the Indian government’s decision of revoking the Article 370 and 35-A of the Indian Constitution and increasing the number of troops in the Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK), Pakistan has responded by downgrading the diplomatic relations with India. Pakistan has asked Indian High Commissioner to leave the country and has halted the newly appointed High Commission from going to India, who was due to leave on 16 August 2019.

Pakistan has also decided to downgrade the trade relations with India, in responding to the India move of ripping the Jammu and Kashmir of its special status after the constitutional amendment passed by the Lok Sabha. These decision have been taken following the long-hours meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) held on Wednesday.
