The Pakistan Girl Guides held a Canvas Camp and Basic Training of Guiding program in Balochistan. The event touched upon various matters, including awareness on breast cancer and personal safety.

According to reports, the Pakistan Girl Guides held the event at the District Zhob in Balochistan. The official Girl Guides Twitter account shared the following tweet.

The Association not only gave awareness regarding breast cancer but as part of its Project Stay Safe, but also gave information and sessions on personal safety, drug prevention, online security, and emotional well-being. Numerous activities centered around these topics to make the session more engaging and interactive were conducted. The girls can be seen making charts and posters. Certificates were also handed out to the participants.

It is to be noted that the Pakistan Girl Guides Association was founded in 1911 as part of Indian Girl Guiding. It achieved autonomy in 1947, its name becoming what it currently is, and became a full member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1948. The purpose of the organization is the development of young girls and women and as the name implies, consists only of females. Currently, it has 117,692 members.
