Lahore, 16th August: Pakistan High Commission in New Zealand strongly condemns hate attacks and requests the community to report all such incidents to the police.

According to reports, Pakistan High Commission in New Zealand has condemned a recent hate attack on a Pakistani boy by Afghan men in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Pakistan High Commission in New Zealand said in a statement released on Twitter that we are aware of the attack on a member of the Pakistani community in Christchurch yesterday. We are in touch with him and have assured him of all possible help.

The Pakistan High Commission in New Zealand further said that a complaint has been lodged with the police by the victim and we are looking into the matter. The Pakistan High Commission in New Zealand strongly condemns such heinous attacks and appeals to the community to report all such incidents to the police.

Plans for movie on New Zealand mosque attacks draw criticism

It is to be noted that a 16-year-old boy was attacked by Afghan nationals at a party in Christchurch on Friday last week. The Muslim boy later succumbed to his wounds and lost his life at the hospital.

According to reports, two other people were also injured in the attack.

Meanwhile, Police have claimed to arrest the man accused of killing the Muslim boy and injuring two others.
